By accessing the Chicago Works/2pensmedia app, you acknowledge and fully understand the Privacy Statement and freely consent to the information collection and use practices described in this Privacy Statement.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

2pensmedia, Inc., collects certain information from and about its users four ways: (i) directly from our Web Server logs, (ii) our mobile application platform, (iii) the user, and (iv) with Cookies.

Web Server Logs

When you use our app or use our service through our mobile application platform, we may track information to administer the site and analyze its usage, improve our site and services we offer, or fulfill the purpose of your interaction with Chicago Works/2pensmedia (e.g. reporting an issue submitted by you to the appropriate public sector agency). Examples of information we may track include:

•Your address used in service reporting
•Your current location or user defined location.
•Ward in Chicago where app was activated
•Date and time of your visit.

Personal Information Uses

Users of the Chicago Works app will only be required to submit email addresses, physical addresses and name. This information will only be used to support City of Chicago service requests. Collected information will be passed to the ward office where the service request was made and to the City of Chicago 311 system. Data and information collected will not be shared with any outside organization.

Changes to this Statement

2pensmedia has the discretion to occasionally update this Privacy Statement. When we do, we will also revise the "updated" date at the top of this privacy page. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Statement to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. Your continued use of the service constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Statement and any updates.

Consent to Collection and Processing in the United States

If you are located outside the United States, please note that by using 2pensmedia, you consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States. For users in England and Wales, the information you provide to 2pensmedia is also subject to the Data Protection Act 1998.
